Kurunhikkattil ayurveda hospital was founded by Late. Sri Kurunhikkattil Kunhiraman Vaidyar, son of the ayurvedic legend late sri Kundu Vaidyar. He was born and brought up in an ayurvedic atmosphere. He was a great humanitarian & took part in the freedom struggle.

By profession he was an ayurvedic physician who dedicated his service to the society. Kunhiraman vaidyar, the founder of this instituition was the solace & last resort to the suffering people at that time. Kurunhikkattil ayurveda family carries a unique experience and tradition extending to more than three centuries in the field of ayurveda.
At present Kurunhikkattil ayurveda hospital is managed by Dr. Sanal Kurunhikkattil B.A.M.S, Grand son of Late sri Kundu Vaidyar and he is backed by a team of ayurveda specialists
