Equestrian Jumping
Jumping was held in a sand land or grassland with 90mx60m course. A jumping competition is one in which the combination of horse and competitor is tested under various conditions over a course of obstacles. If a competitor makes certain faults, such as knocking down an obstacle, refusing, exceeding the time allowed, etc..
Equestrian Eventing
Eventing consists of three parts: Dressage, Jumping and cross-country test. The cross-country test is the most important part in the eventing tests in principle. Comparatively speaking, the importance of dressage is slighly inferior to jumping. So the routes, obstacles and other conditions of cross-country test and jumping should be set up correspondingly to guarantee proportion described above as much as possible.
