The Venue for crafts Mela, the Kottakunnu Maidan in Malappuram in Kerala,
already a renowned tourist spot, has now become synonymous with
the Malappuram Crafts Mela. The Mela is to be conducted from
December 16 to 30 2010. It will bring together various
Small Scale Industries, Artisans, Craftsmen, diamond cutters,
metal workers and sculptors from across the Country. The largest of its kind,
the Event will give the craftsmen a perfect platform to showcase their products
as well as display their skills and craftsmanship. Direct interaction with
customers will present new business opportunities, opening up doors to better
prospects. The Mela has now become a part of Grand Kerala Shopping Festival
bringing huge publicity and large audience in a very conducive commercial
environment.
