Chess competitions at Asian Games 2010 is scheduled from 13 November to 26 November 2010. There are 4 medal events in this game. The game is played on a square checker board with 64 squares arranged as 8X8. Each player wants to controls sixteen pieces with black or white color and they are one king, one queen, two rooks, two knights, two bishops, and eight pawns. Each player can normally make a single move with their color piece. There are different rules for different pieces. Chess made its Asian Games debut in 2006 Doha Asian Games
