Milma Agencies Vengara, Kerala Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation (KCMMF), popularly called milma was established in April, 1980 with its Head Office at Thiruvananthapuram for the successful implementation of the Operation Flood ( a dairy programme launched in 1970 under the aegis of National Dairy Development Board(NDDB). 

The Motto of Co-operation of “of the people, by the people and for the people” is the foundation of the “three tier system” followed by the organisation. At the village level we have the Village Milk Co-operative Societies which have the local milk producers as its members. These Village Co-operatives unite at the Regional level and form Regional Co-operative Milk Producers’ Unions
