Sri Tali Siva Temple is located Near Vengara Kacherippady, Kannattippady- Javan road Junction, This Temple is one among 18 famous Tali Temples across Kerala, The Idol of this Temple is the “Devan” (Divine Power) of Vengara “Desham” (Region), Its believed that the Idol of this 5000 odd year old temple was installed by “Parashurama”, According to the history,”Brahmanas” were the care takers of this temple but later point of time the authority of this temples reached in to the hands of local rulers and “samoodhiri” took up the control of this Temple, Samoodhiri appointed Local “Nair” lords as the care takers of this Temple
